How long does my hair need to be?

You should grow your hair out for 10 days to 2 weeks, it should be about the length of a grain of rice, or 1/4 of an inch.

Will it hurt?

I get this question a lot, waxing isn't a walk in the park, BUT my clients always say it is not as bad as they thought it would be, the first time wax hurts the most but your hair will start to thin out with each wax, causing upkeep to be less painful!

My wax wasn't perfectly smooth, what's the deal?

Your hair isn't growing the same lengths at the same time, it usually takes a couple waxes to get all hair growing evenly, make sure you don't tweeze or shave in between waxes to make sure each wax will result in a smoother outcome!

What do I need to do to prepare?

Avoid tanning and using retinol on areas that will be waxed, at least 24 hours before your appointment and after your appointment. Exfoliate and moisturize several days in advance to have the smoothest wax possible.

Can I get a wax while on my period?

Absolutely! Just make sure you have a tampon or cup in, and be aware your pain tolerance will be lower during this time, so plan accordingly!

How long before I can come for upkeep?

Every 4-6 weeks for an upkeep wax. Some areas grow faster than others but generally you need at least 3 weeks for the hair to be ready to wax again for your fastest growing areas.
